Based on his success from 1991 at CeBIT, at that time biggest Computer and Communication fair of the world, Arno A. Evers was asked by the management of Deutsche Messe AG, to propose a new topic for the annual HANNOVER FAIR. To make that fair more attractive.
In 1994, Evers suggested the subject of hydrogen to Deutsche Messe AG.
In January 1995 he was commissioned to develop a joint stand. In April 1997,
Deutsche Messe AG determined that the topic was not worthwhile.
Evers then took over the topic into his own direction and brought the trade fair stand
together with his dedicated international team,
to world market leadership within a few years.
In 2006, Evers sold all intellectual properties with all databases to Deutsche Messe AG,
actually to the same people who had dismissed the issue in 1997.
He was the worldwide promoter for the stand until 2010.
Deutsche Messe AG has been the organizer since 2007, the operation is taken care of
by a small handful of former Evers employees from that time.
Initially, an important part of the one-off event was continued after 2007:
The unique Internet documentation of all activities of the international exhibitors
and visitors from politics and business at the joint stand. Including exhibitor
information, Forum program with statements, photos, videos, 360 degrees panoramic pictures
and much more.
In the year 2020, Deutsche Messe AG decided to retrospectively delete this documentation
from 2007 to 2019 completely
