The human
genom is decoded up to 97%, knows Dr. Jörg Wadzack of the
German Humangenomprojekt. Thus the basis for the diagnosis
and therapy are created by means of genetic procedures.

Dr. Wadzack
demonstrates a robot for the automated handling of the clones.
Only by the application of robotics and sophisticated computer
engineering the large range of the research work can be mastered.

To the
chances and risks of the genetic engineering asked, Dr. Wadzack
means: "It may not be forced anybody to a gene test. The new
possibilities resulting from the research require a careful
totalsocial adjustment."
